This week, we’re making Pistachio Barfi using #Flavorall with Tasnim from @ibake_memories. Tasnim is a content creator living in Toronto, ON, who enjoys sharing pictures and stories of her life as a mom, foodie, traveller and anartist on her blog and Instagram page.

? Pistachio Barfi ?

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 tbsp ghee
  • 1 cup milk powder
  • 1 cup full-fat milk
  • 13-15 drops of Flavorall Classic Cardamom Stevia Liquid
  • ½ cup chopped pistachios
  • Toppings (optional): ¼ cup chopped pistachios, rose petals 

METHOD

  1. Melt ghee in a pot.
  2. Add milk powder to ghee and mix.
  3. Slowly add milk and whisk everything together to avoid clumps.
  4. Add Flavorall and chopped pistachios, and mix.
  5. On medium heat, continue stirring until mixture thickens.
  6. Pour mixture into a mould, lined with parchment paper. Spread evenly.
  7. Add chopped pistachios on top.
  8. Let it cool, and cut into cubes.
